Mid-Century Teak Sideboard | Greaves & Thomas | London - UK | 1960s

Sideboard designed in the early 1960s by London-based British furniture manufacturer Greaves and Thomas. The prestigious firm was characterized in the mid-twentieth century for producing a line of high-end contemporary furniture, as is the case here, created by the department of the London firm, headed by Walter Cornell, in laminated teak wood, with clean lines and a distinct Danish influence. The front consists of four streets: in the central part a trio of drawers (the upper one compartmentalized and upholstered), on the left a module with a removable shelf and on the right a duo with a folding and normal door, which reveals a single and wide space (ideal for cocktails) with fixed shelf with two depths.

Completely restored by our department, achieving a very good aesthetic state, being its signs of use practically negligible (as a slight tarnish on the drawer upholstery).

And remember: as the slogan of Greaves & Thomas said "add room to rooms"!
