"Uma visita ao passado" | 150x100cm | Acrílico s/tela | Sandmann | 2021

A trip to the past begins with a blank canvas, as if when we look in the mirror there is no reflection besides our own. There are three characters representing a past, present and future. This is comparable to the process of creating a painting. The past is represented on the left, with a face of frustration. In the middle, a woman who draws at the same time as she wishes to jump out of the canvas. The third character is a person that watches and follows the frustration of the past, while observing at the same time the actions from the present, as if living in the future and for a brief moment visits the former self.
